关于 the IRB

Herzing University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) is an administrative body established to provide research support 和 oversight for the ethical acquisition of knowledge 和 to protect the rights 和 welfare of human research subjects. 所有 proposed studies conducted under the auspices of Herzing University or involving Herzing University students, 教师, or other employees must be submitted to 和 approved by the IRB. The IRB is responsible for the approval of all protocols involving one or more human subjects to ensure compliance with, 和 fulfillment of: (1) the policies contained in the IRB document entitled “Guidelines for Researchers” (2) the U.S. Department of Health 和 Human Services Office of Human Research Protections’ Institutional Review Board Guidebook (hereafter, HHS OHRP IRB Guidelines); 和 (3) federal 和 state regulations related to research with human subjects or studies accessing protected health information.
